Soudan, MN (NNCNOW.com) – Breitung Township Administrator and 3rd generation miner Tim Tomsich says there’s no denying his family’s connection with Iron Range ferrous mining.
Both he and his wife’s grandfather began their careers in the Soudan Mine.
“Her brother worked as a tour guide in the Soudan State Park, and my daughter also worked as a tour guide in Soudan State Park,” smiled Tomsich, “so all told, there’s five generations that have worked in the Soudan Mine.”
